Silent Auction - Thursday, December 11, 2008. Before we know it the holidays will be upon us and that means our Holiday Silent Auction Dinner. We are already gathering donations to make this the best one yet! If you or someone you know, would like to donate to the auction, please contact us and we'll add it to our already growing list! Some ideas from previous years are, but not limited to, gift card basket, wine & cheese basket, pamper/spa basket, toys, games, children's book basket, homemade card basket and clothing. Please help us by donating either an entire basket or contributing with other members towards putting together a basket. We'd like to have all donations in by early December!
Family Holiday Party - Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 2:00 – 5:00pm Appetizers, desserts, and beverages will be available for adults and children. There will be a bounce house and a holiday craft to add to this fun afternoon. At 3:00pm, Santa will come for a visit. Each child will have a chance to sit on Santa's lap. Please bring a wrapped gift for each of your children with their name marked clearly on the outside. The cost of the event is $5 per family.
Holiday Cookie Exchange - Wednesday, December 17th, 2008 at 9:30am Barb Ringhofer is hosting a cookie exchange at her home. Please bring your favorite holiday baked good packaged for gift giving in festive half-dozed increments to exchange with others (approximately 4 dozen total). You’ll take home a half-dozen each of about 8 different cookies, bars, cupcakes, candy, fudge, or muffins. Bring a little extra for taste sampling, too. Through the Evite you’ll be able to let us know exactly what you’ll be bringing (just to ensure we don’t have all sugar cookies) and from this we’ll be able to determine how many containers to bring exactly. Please bring only homemade items.
If you can’t come Wednesday morning, you’ll be able to drop off your creations by Tuesday night and we’ll collect your sampling for you to pick up later that day.
